The Volunteer Resource Centre Alliance currently meets biannually in the Perth metropolitan area to discuss sector issues, plan, and to share ideas and information about current and future projects and initiatives. Alliance members residing outside the Perth metropolitan area travel to attend the meetings, and are accommodated in Perth for the duration of the meetings.

The Volunteering Secretariat provides funding to the Alliance in support of Alliance meetings. This funding is administratively managed by Volunteering WA.

The Volunteer Resource Centre Alliance was established to provide appropriate and effective avenues for communication, networking and information sharing, and to support and enhance the capacity of its members.
